 Welcome to First Christian Church of Abilene and our witness on the world-wide web. We are a mission-minded family of faith with a deep desire to bless our community, and a knack for helping people to "rediscover God for the first time."

Our doors open every weekday morning to welcome and feed any who are hungry, with our "Breakfast On Beech Street" ministry (B.O.B.S.). BOBS is a shared ministry with four other Abliene congregations; read more about it under the "Ministries" tab, and come see for yourself how the Body of Christ is blessing our community in Jesus' name.

We emphasize ministry to families and children, from our creative Sunday school classes to the "FirstACT!" children's music & drama group, to active teen youth groups and "Worship and Wonder" for children during the 11am worship service. "For Kids Only" is our twice-a-week preschool program. You'll find F.K.O. under the "Ministries" tab and the "Youth & Children's Ministry" tab.

Adults of all ages are active in Sunday school classes, "ChristCare" small groups, Men's and Women's ministry groups-- and our "Funtimers" group (55+) are experts at having fun!

I would love for you to visit a worship service on Sunday morning. "Grace Falls," a contemporary worship service led by our talented praise team, begins at 9:00am in our Chapel. Our Traditional worship begins at 11:00am in the Sanctuary and features wonderful music from our Chancel Choir, "Bonnie Belle" handbell choir, and our gifted accompanist. Sunday school for all ages begins at 10am.
